Thank you for taking a look at our profile! Our names are Josh, Mandy, Amelia, and Desmond; thank you for considering us as an adoptive family for your child. We are just a dad, mom, little girl, and little boy whose greatest wish is for a baby to join our family. There is so much we want you to know about us, but most of all we want you to know how much we will love, cherish, and nurture your baby in a caring and stable home.
About Us
We got married in 2010 after dating for three years. Some of our favorite things, as you’ll see in our photos, are music, travel, sports, food, reading, and spending time with family. Mandy works for a software company and is an adjunct professor at a local college. She loves playing outside and reading with the kids. Mandy has a great sense of humor. She is very smart and isn’t afraid of working hard. Josh is a stay-at-home dad. He is an amazing father; he loves to play with the kids getting down on the floor to play cars, Lego, tea party, or read stories. Josh works very hard to be a good dad; he always puts our daughter and son first and makes sure they are happy, healthy, and learning. We have a great love for education and will encourage our children to attend college and hope our love of learning will be passed on to them. We are also committed to providing our children with wonderful childhood experiences, both at home and through travel.
We’ve been blessed through adoption twice before. Our son and daughter are the most amazing, wonderful things to ever happen to us. Our daughter is a bright, funny, clever little girl who is determined to figure everything around her out and get her way doing it. Our son is a determined, sweet, and silly little boy who wants nothing more than to spend the day riding his scooter and playing cars. Both children have been such a blessing in our lives. We can’t wait to be blessed with another child. Your baby would be so loved by us and would have the best big sister and brother in the world. The kids have already decided which of toys their brother or sister will like the most and who gets to give the baby his first bottle and hold him first. Our whole family is so eager to welcome a new little brother or sister; we can’t wait to bring him or her into our hearts and a home filled with love, laughter, music, and joy.
Choosing Adoption
We have always wanted a family through adoption. Mandy and her three brothers are adopted and her two younger brothers are African American. Josh has a multiracial family as well. We believe that diversity is meaningful and important, and that it creates stronger bonds within a family. Our goal is to raise our children in a happy, loving home where they have every opportunity to enjoy the good things in life. We will encourage your baby to explore their interests, learn about other cultures, and grow into the individual they are. But most of all, we will shower him or her with love. We understand that you have a lot on your mind right now and hope that your decision gives you a sense of peace. If you decide that we are the right family for your child, we promise we’ll love and care for your baby unconditionally, and we will ensure that your child always knows how much you love him or her.
