We are so touched that you have considered adoption as an option for your child. It is such a selfless, courageous, loving act. We hope that you are feeling supported and loved in this difficult time.
Seth and I discovered that we had trouble with infertility over 10 years ago. After several years of infertility treatments, our daughter, Rowan, arrived unexpectedly. Since then, another several years of difficult treatments have been unsuccessful, but our longing for another child remains. There is a space in our family that we desire to fill, and we are ready to welcome another child with open arms. We hope that you can get to know us and we appreciate your consideration as a potential family for your child.
Life is so precious and we cherish every moment of our lives together. We love to do things as a family and call ourselves the “Adventure Family”. Some of our favorite things to do are hiking, biking, camping, going to the park and to the pool. We have fun exploring new places and learning new things. We also enjoy our time at home, when we can read together, cook, play and work together, laugh, listen to music, dance and watch movies. Our house if full of laughter and love and we all support each other in good times and in trying times. There is always someone to laugh with and lean on in our home and family always comes first.
Helping Rowan learn and grow has been one of the greatest and most rewarding adventures of our lives. We feel it is so important to foster a close and trusting relationship with each other. Seth and I work to instill important values with Rowan, such as hard work, charity, self worth, honesty, strength, confidence and kindness.
We are so excited about adding to our family. We respect the courageous and loving decision you have made and hope to provide a loving and nurturing home for your child.
