Updated Information:  This situation is matched.

Expectant mom, C,  is making an adoption plan for her baby that is due around January 16, 2016. She asked Act of Love to help her search for a married adoptive family that is interested in an open adoption with pictures and letters four times a year through the agency.  C would also like to meet the adoptive family at the time of birth.  C is a Hispanic woman and is making an adoption plan for her Hispanic or Hispanic/Caucasian baby boy.  Her situation is requiring assistance from the adoptive family for her living and care.

C has recently started regular prenatal care and reports that she takes prenatal vitamins on occasion.  She states that she is healthy and has not experienced any major injury, illness, medical problem or developmental problem during her life.  Three of her five babies have been delivered via c-section and she expects this baby to be delivered via c-section.  When medical records are received, they will be made available to the adoptive family.  C has been approved for Medicaid.  Act of Love can not guarantee it will cover all of the medical costs and adoptive family would be responsible for any remaining costs.

C reports that she used Meth once or twice a week beginning around the middle of July 2015 and used Meth weekly until around the end of September and then stopped until using again around the middle of October.  She also reports that she stopped smoking cigarettes around the middle of September and reports that she occasionally drinks beer, but has not had any alcohol since learning of her pregnancy in August.

C is planning to review profiles as soon as they become available.  If you would like your profile to be considered, please visit the Outreach page located on the website under the Adoptive Family tab at www.aactofloveadoptions.com.  This page will help to provide instructions for approval in the AOL Outreach Program and the AOL Application packet. Please scan and email completed packet along with your approved (within 1 year) home study and birth parent profile to outreach@aactofloveadoptions.com. The AOL Outreach Program DOES NOT require fees until a birth parent selects you as the adoptive family.  Please do not hesitate to call our staff with questions.

Please call AOL staff Monday-Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. MST at 1-888-767-7740 to get any questions answered and find out how to become ready for adoption.  You may also email questions to outreach@aactofloveadoptions.com. It would be our pleasure to address your adoption needs. All Act of Love situations are presented to full-service adoptive families prior to presenting to Outreach adoptive families.

Act of Love Adoptions is also happy to offer individual services to families and birth parents interested in completing an adoption, as well as agency assist and full adoption services. A free Adoption Orientation is offered, on the first Tuesday of every month beginning at 7:00 p.m.  AOL will hold another Adoption Orientation on November 3, 2015 beginning at 7:00 p.m., at the Sandy offices. Please call and RSVP, if possible. The orientation offers a casual setting designed to provide educational information to adoptive families considering adoption along with information to experience a successful adoption before, during and after placement. Birth parents and adoptive families will be available to answer questions and share their stories. Call 801-572-1696 to receive further information on the orientation or to schedule a free, private informational appointment. AOL looks forward to being able to support you with your adoption needs.
