Contemplating adoption, parenting or abortion.

You likely have many questions on your mind about your choices.   With counseling, you can learn the answers to questions about adoption, parenting and abortion to make the best decision. Remember, there is not a dumb question when you are making the best decision for you and your baby.  You can choose to have as much or as little counseling – you create your own plan.

We can help you with an adoption plan, information and resources regarding parenting and helping to answer your questions about abortion. Adoption has been around for centuries, but like everything else, it is evolving. It is always best to do some research, whether it is online, calling adoption agencies or attorneys, talking with others who have placed a baby for adoption or talking to those who have adopted children. The more you know, the better decision you will be able to make. You will be surprised as you start talking and asking about adoption – it is everywhere, and all around you. You will begin to meet many people whose lives have been touched through adoption.

Post-adoption contact:  Open, Semi-open or Closed Adoption

If you choose adoption, your adoption counselor will help you decide what type of contact before, during and after placement will be best for your situation.  Adoption today is as varied as the people involved in the adoption triad. There are many options that will work the best for you.  There is not one certain way, but the way you choose.  You may even change your mind about contact after counseling, selecting your adoptive family or meeting your adoptive parents.

For some, an open adoption (visits, phone calls, social media) is the absolute best type of option, for others, a semi-open plan (letters, emails and pictures) works better and some choose to have very little to no contact. The best thing about current adoption is that as a birth parent, you are able to make these types of decisions and make a plan that works the very best for you. The adoption agency’s counselor can help walk you through your choices.

Trust yourself to find make the best decision and work with the adoption professionals that truly cares about you and your baby.

We have staff available 24/7 to listen to your needs.
