Your Privacy is Respected
Your happiness, trust, and individuality are important to us. We want you to feel comfortable that you have chosen the right place in your search for answers. We are licensed by the government and are obligated to keep any information that we may receive confidential.
Medical, Legal, and Financial Assistance
We offer assistance with medical and legal services. We also provide living accommodations if necessary. We work with doctors and hospitals that show compassion and caring to our birth mothers. The adoptive family usually pays for pregnancy related medical expenses for the you and/or your baby, unless you have insurance or other medical coverage that could pay for your expenses. We work with attorneys who are available to answer questions that may come up. We can also help with living arrangements and expenses, which vary depending upon your personal situation. Please allow us to assist you in the adoption process.
Open and Closed Adoptions
Open Adoptions : We know that as a birth parent you want the very best for your child. To assure this, you may wish to view profiles to select a family. If you desire, you may also interview the prospective family by phone or in person. You may also choose to receive pictures, letters, and/or conference calls after placement on going for up to 18 years at your discretion. You may also choose to have letters sent and kept in your file until you request them.
Closed Adoptions : If you are not comfortable in selecting a family, you may choose to have our staff select a family for you. You may choose to keep your adoption file closed and have no future contact with the adopted child.
It is your choice to make a plan that you are comfortable with. We understand that each birth parent has different needs, because of this we want to work closely wit you to ensure that your plan is right for you.
Counseling
In order for you to implement your adoption plan, we offer free individualized pregnancy counseling and post-placement counseling. We also provide a toll-free help line that is answered 24-hours a day, seven days a week by our friendly staff. They are here to answer any questions or listen to any concerns you may have about the adoption process. We provide loving, caring support before and after placement.
Housing
If you desire to relocate during the latter part of your pregnancy, we have several apartments located in a beautiful, resort-like complex in Salt Lake City, Utah. These apartments are nearby three major hospitals. We offer fully furnished units with on site laundry facilities. Apartments also include swimming pools, volley-ball courts, play grounds, duck ponds, and walking areas. Shopping centers, restaurants, and bus routes are all within walking distance. Hotels are also sometimes used if apartments are occupied.
We have birth parent coordinators on our staff that are on call to assist you with your adoption. They are available to provide transportation to your doctor appointments, counseling visits, and grocery shopping. They are also here to provide you with support and friendship.
Adoptive Families, Direct Placements
We have adoptive families from all types of backgrounds, geographic areas, and religious preferences. You can be assured that they are carefully interviewed and screened. This includes background criminal and child abuse checks, home studies, and financial and medical inquiries. Our families must also attend classes on child rearing which discuss bathing, feeding, general child care, CPR, racial issues, and other topics. After placement, a family is in close contact with a licensed professional and must comply to post placement visits. If there is a specific quality or interest you are looking for in a family we will help you find that special family.
