Adoptive Parents

A Act of Love would like to thank you for expressing interest in adoption and in our adoption programs. Act of Love is a charitable, private, licensed adoption agency. We serve families without regard to race, ethnic origin, religion, or marital status2.

There are many advantages to pursing adoption through A Act of Love. One positive aspect of our agency is that there are no lengthy waiting lists for applicants with our agency. You are shown to birth parents as soon as your home study is complete and you are approved as an adoptive family. We have a very good track record of placing families as quickly as possible. Another bonus is that we do not charge a placement fee for birthmothers who decide to keep their child, but you will still be responsible for a non-refundable application/processing/activation fee and any attorney or out-of-state agency Act of Love contracts with.

We are one of the most successful and progressive adoption agencies serving birth parents and adoptive families throughout the United States. We are committed to providing excellent individualized service to each adoptive parent.

We know you may be concerned about having enough information to make an educated decision about adoption and about a particular situation with a birth parent. We seek to find the child an adoptive parent is looking for while matching the wishes of the birth parents at the same time. We support the birth parents in their need to know that their child is being loved and cared for by people who value them and appreciate the adoption process. It is one of our foremost goals to help adoptive families, birth parents, and the community to understand and value adoption as a vital, loving, and wonderful way to build families.

One of the comments that adoptive families often make to us is that we takes a lot of the stress out of the adoption process because we take care of the birth parents and are physically and emotionally available to adoptive families even if services are required before or after normal working hours.
